NSFST Remit
 

To provide active support in the form of Security for scouting events and ensuring safety and welfare for all those in attendance by aiding the event organisers in accordance to their wishes. Examples of such cover include: -
 

• Providing 24-hour security.
   
• Manning all the gates to the campsite so to control the access of persons and vehicles and to prevent any unauthorised entry.
   
• Patrol of camp and perimeters to prevent any security breaches.
   
• Marshalling of large events especially those held in the main arena.
   
• Provide information and points of contact for campers and visitors.
   
• Provide aid and direction to emergency services in the event of causalities, fires and disorders.
   
• Patrol of required areas and structures e.g. sub camps, marquees, buildings, kitchens, site facilities, activities, marketing, car parks and on site roadways to prevent crime, vandalism and injuries.
   
• To ensure all campers abide by the camp rules.
